Guess what? As a book reviewer, I have to read a lot of books. Pictured below is the batch of books that I’m reading or about to read, not counting the 4 ebooks I need to read as well.

How many books do you read a week? I’m blown away by how often you have a new review! I only read about 2-3 a month at best and I only read one book at a time. I’m reading Adventures of a Waterboy by Mike Scott at the moment.
A week? Probably about 2 per week, depending on how many ebooks I get from NetGalley and such. It’s just that I’ve been hoarding my new purchases, most of which are used books, at the moment. That’s why I have so many.
Wow, you must be a fast reader! I wish I had time for 2 a week!
Well, I actually work full time. The trick to getting your reading done is knowing how many pages you can read in one hour and planning your schedule accordingly. I can read about 100 pages/hour, depending on how small the print is, so I plan accordingly.
100 pages an hour sounds like a lot to me! I think I can read about half that in an hour, but it would depend on the print size. You ARE a fast reader!
I’m really interested in giving those Veronica Roth books, “Divergent” and “Insurgent” a try pretty soon. At the moment I’m working on “Ready Player One” and then I desperately want to tackle “Leviathan Wakes” and its sequel, “Caliban’s War.”
Divergent was actually pretty good; I would recommend it. Unfortunately for me, it touched on an issue I’m personally sensitive to so I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I should have.
